Capcom on last Thursday has officially announced the very next iteration in the popular survival-horror Resident Evil series titled as Resident Evil 6. The game will hit the worldwide store shelves on 20th November, 2012. Resident Evil 6 will initially be launched on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. No comment has been made yet on the release of the PC version but it is expected to be released within this year.

Till date Resident Evil game franchise, which includes over two dozen sequels, has sold more than 46 million copies and has successfully been imported into Hollywood franchise with over 4 blockbusters.

Plot:

Resident Evil 6 will take place a decade after the events of the original Resident Evilgame, and for the first time in the series Resident Evil 6 will center around bio-terrorism. According to the official press release:
